The most business-y way to do business.
An approach page is where consultants write about excellence and passion. This one explains how the work actually happens.
What is business?
Throughout my studies and my work, one question kept coming back: what is business? The answer changed with every place and every employer. But underneath, one common assumption always held. Business is people coming together to create something.
So what is a consultant?
Consultants have a reputation: heavy, dry, expensive, and paid by the hour to give advice. The view here is different. A consultant should be useful. Not someone who hands over a recommendation and leaves, but someone who gets the thing done.
What actually stops you
Rarely the idea. Usually everything around it. Regulations, local restrictions, forms in a language you cannot verify, and the administrative work that keeps you away from the thing you set out to create. The restaurant you wanted to open. The brand you wanted to build. The machines you wanted to sell. All of it required, none of it helping you create.
How the work happens
I ask what you want. I ask the authorities what they need. Then the middle ground gets negotiated, and you hear about it in clear and transparent words. The goal is momentum. You should move forward every week, and you should always know where things stand.
Boats and cars
Nobody knows every rule in every canton, and nobody should claim to. When a boat is required, a boat gets built. When a car is required, a car gets built. Not all of it alone. Where a case needs know-how that is not here, the person who has it is brought in, and you keep one contact. At the end, the project is done. Not always exactly as you first imagined it, but in the best fit between your plan and what Switzerland allows.
No selling
Nothing gets sold here that you do not need. The scope is agreed before the work starts, the work gets done, and it gets billed at the agreed price. If a plan is unrealistic, you hear that in the first conversation. That conversation is free.
See whether this way of working fits you.
